Our hot school meal provider is Chartwells, who come into school every day to cook the children a hot, nutritious meal. All children in Years R, 1 and 2 are entitled to the hot meal, at no cost, through the Universal Infant Free School Meal scheme, provided by the Government.
Children in Years 3,4,5 and 6 can also have a hot school meal, however this will need to be booked and paid for at least 10 days in advance. Bookings can be made through their website Meal Selector. Here is a copy of their current menu.
If your child would like a hot meal but have dietary requirements, please message Chartwells direct through their Contact Us page.
A packed lunch can be brought in by any child not wishing to have a hot meal, although please can we ask that it does not contain any nut products as we do have pupils and staff with severe nut allergies. Lunchboxes should also not contain sweets of any kind.
Drink
Every child should come to school with a bottle of water, which they will have access to throughout the day. Bottles should only contain water, as fruit juice, squash, fizzy drinks are not permitted. More information on hydration can be found on:
