Starting School in September 2027?

Choosing the right primary school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your child. At St Peter’s CE Primary School, we are proud to offer a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.

As a school family rooted in Christian values, our ethos shapes everything we do. We believe in unlocking the potential in everyone and helping children grow into confident, compassionate and successful learners. Our values of Respectful, Resilient, Resourceful and Always Aiming High underpin school life and support children to thrive both academically and personally.

Our carefully designed curriculum inspires curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. Children learn in engaging, language-rich classrooms where learning is tailored to meet individual needs and where every child is encouraged to achieve their very best. We provide exciting opportunities, real-life experiences and meaningful outcomes that help children develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for the future.

Beyond the classroom, we place a strong emphasis on sport, the arts and personal development. Our wide range of clubs, enrichment activities and wider opportunities ensure children can discover new interests, develop talents and build lasting friendships.

Above all, St Peter’s is a welcoming community where children feel safe, supported and happy. We know that choosing a school is a significant step, and there is no better way to experience what makes St Peter’s special than by visiting us in person.

Come and See Our School

We warmly invite prospective parents and carers to join us for one of our Open Events, where you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet our Headteacher and staff team
  • Tour the school and see learning in action
  • Talk to our children about their experiences
  • Discover what makes St Peter’s such a special place to learn and grow

During our Open Morning on Saturday 17 October, the Headteacher, Mrs Maurice, will give a presentation and lead a tour of the school at 10:00am.

Please register your interest: Do you have a child who will be starting school next September (2027)? – Fill in form

We look forward to welcoming you to our St Peter’s family.
