Welcome to the website of St. Peter’s CofE (Aided) Primary School, Henfield.
St. Peter’s is a warm, welcoming, inclusive and caring school, where all of our staff are committed to ensuring that every child is given the opportunities to reach their full potential.
“Our children learn in a fun, engaging, purposeful environment that is tailored to meet the needs of all pupils. Our broad and balanced curriculum gives pupils the opportunity to meet all National Curriculum requirements but also to learn from first-hand experiences and varied learning opportunities across a range of inspiring topics. We value creativity – drama, art, design, music – and sport – gymnastics, dance, field sports, athletics – as much as we value English, mathematics, science and all other academic subjects. We are proud to offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities.
Spiritual, Social, Moral and Cultural development is integral in all we do, including developing fundamental British Values. As a church school we strongly embrace Christian values in all that we do but are equally as welcoming and respectful to children from all other religions.
Our aim at St. Peter’s is to help the children leave our school with high quality skills and an unwavering belief and confidence in their own ability, well prepared for the next stage in their education. In order to do this, all the work we embark upon at St. Peter’s follows our core values: Respectful, Resourceful, Resilient and Always Aiming High.
This website provides new and existing parents / carers and visitors a summary of key information about our school including useful downloads, school policies and the latest letters. If you would like further information or would like to book an appointment for a visit, then please do not hesitate to contact Alice Timmins, the School Office Manager, who will be more than happy to answer your questions.
We are proud of our school and hope that you will be too.
